EVA CHEN  - LEADERSHIP AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO DIGITAL MEDIA IN FASHION

In 2013 Anna Wintour hired Eva Chen as a consultant for Lucky Magazine. Upon her swift promotion to Editor-in-Chief at the same title, Eva Chen became the youngest professional ever to lead a national American magazine. Considered a 'publishing veteran', it was at the Lucky Group that Chen combined her education and diverse media experience to make Lucky Magazine Conde Nast’s first title to establish a digital-first e-commerce platform to complement the magazine.

During her years as an editor, Eva grew into a social media influencer with a massive following and the instantly recognisable #evachenpose hashtag. It was therefore fitting that when Chen joined Instagram (IG) as Head of Fashion Partnerships her announcement came as an IG post. The Asian Couture Federation is excited to honour this social-media pioneer for the Outstanding Contribution to Digital Media in Fashion.
