Apart from being a hugely important patron of the British fashion industry, the Honourable Daphne Guinness is also an accomplished fashion designer, model, stylist, muse, collector, perfumer and a film-maker in her own right. In 2004 she was nominated for an Academy Award for one of her short movies entitled ‘Cashback’ which went on to become a full length feature. She has collaborated and worked with some iconic fashion designers and photographers. These include the late Alexander McQueen, Karl Lagerfeld, COMME des GARÇONS, Tom Ford, David La Chapelle, Steven Klein and Nick Knight. On two occasions she graced the cover of Vogue Italia. Guinness has collected fashion, specifically haute couture, for a number of years. For most of the last decade, Guinness has, in one way or another, continued putting on an extraordinary and accomplished show of unique style and truly original aesthetics.
