SO-EN 88Th Annual Fashion Competition 第８８回装苑賞、公開審査会

The Chairman of the Board and the President of Bunka Fashion College, one of Asia’s most prestigious fashion institutions, invited Asian Couture Federation Founding President, Frank Cintamani for the final judging session of the prestigious So-En 88th Annual Fashion Competition, the oldest and most established fashion competition in Asia. Dr Frank Cintamani and Asian Couture Federation Governor Yuki Sakaguchi were seated alongside fashion luminaries in Japan. The event attracted over 3,000 participants, with only 16 making it to the finals. Their creativity and talent were critically assessed and judged by luminaries from the Asian fashion industry. The Soen Award is an annual contest arranged by Soen Magazine – the Magazine created at Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo. The Grand Prize is 10,000$ and a scholarship to school in the best fashion collage in Paris, to name a few. The competition has previously produced winners the likes of Kenzo Takada, Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, Yumi Katsura, Junko Koshino, SOMARTA and many other internationally recognised and elite Japanese designers.

の公開審査会に出席しました。約3,000人の観衆が見守る中、２次審査を通過した16組が、才能とクリエイティビティにあふれるコレクションを発表。アジアのファッション業界を代表する審査員による厳正なる審査の結果、大橋聖平さんが装苑賞に選出され、トロフィーと賞金100万円、パリの学校への留学サポートなどが贈られました。日本を代表するファッションコンテストである装苑賞ではこれまで、高田賢三、小篠順子（コシノジュンコ）、山本耀司、廣川玉枝（SOMARTA）など、数多くの著名デザイナーを輩出しています。
