COUTURíSSIMO at The Asian Film Awards

Now in its 11th year, the Asian Film Awards (AFA), celebrate the very best of Asian film talent. Held at the Cultural Centre in Hong Kong it was attended by a number of leading celebrities, performers, and directors including Fann Bingbing, Yoshiki, Jonathan Wong Chee-Hynn, Kim Tae-ri and Dong Chengpang among others. Adding a touch of glamour to the red carpet a number of leading actresses and personalities wore the latest COUTURíSSIMO collections including Pinky Lo, Nathalie Mitchell, Amber An, Yao Jue, Elaine Jin, Belinda Yan, Yvette Tang, Fiona Sit and Lisa Ch'ng. Televised across the region and with extensive media presence, COUTURíSSIMO gained a tremendous coverage and attention.

With 18 awards handed out over the evening, the ACF sponsored and presented the 'Best Costume Designer' award to Jo Sang-gyeong for The Handmaiden. Renowned for her handook, or traditional Korean attire, she has worked on over 40 movies including the polka-dot dress of Geum-ja in “Sympathy for Lady Vengeance” (2005).
