By her own admission Silvia Fendi was 'born into fashion’. She represents the third generation of the Italian fashion dynasty and remains the only member of the family still working at Fendi. She is the esteemed Creative Director of accessories, menswear and childrenswear. Her prolific creativity has included the iconic Baguette bag and garnered her the title of “Italy's queen of accessories’. She is also active in film and has been the producer on a number of Italian movies including I Am Love (2009), Antonia. (2015) and Suspiria (2017).

 

In addition, she is also the President and creative mastermind behind AltaRoma, Rome’s bi-annual fashion week and champion of Italian couture. Her vision to re- invigorate Rome’s couture soul has been an inspiration to the fashion world and the Asian Couture Federation.

Within the ACF, she acts in the capacity of ‘Governor in Chief’ and as such is the most senior Governor and provides valuable insight, guidance and advice to the Executive Board and fellow Governors.
