Lie Sang Bong Takes on U.S Market <br/><br/><br/>

Affectionately dubbed as the Godfather of Korean fashion, it has been over a decade since Lie Sang Bong made his successful debut in Paris in 2002. In recent years, Lie Sang Bong’s creations have been worn by some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities known today, such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Lindsay Lohan. This exposure has elevated Lie Sang Bong’s profile amongst fashion lovers and influencers across the globe, which in turn has captured the attention of international buyers from the U.S. Market.The President of the Council of Fashion Designers of Korea and Senior Member of the Asian Couture Federation, Lie Sang Bong, will open his first boutique in New York’s Meatpacking District this October. Soon after the final model walked the runway at Lie SangBong’s show at New York Fashion Week last season, the 2,000 square foot boutique at 30 Gansevoort Street was announced. The forthcoming boutique in New York’s trendiest neighbourhood will retail both the designer’s eponymous collection, LIE SANG BONG, and its women’s pret-a-porter counterpart along with select handpicked pieces from the designer’s favourite brands. Prior to his latest boutique opening, Lie Sang Bong will present his Spring/Summer 2015 collection in September at New York Fashion Week, ensuring that all eyes will be on the prolific designer this fall.
